LAKELAND - Alan R. Hart, 83, passed away Jan. 15, 2012 due to heart failure.
Mr. Hart was born in Farmington, MI on Oct. 23, 1928. He moved to Lakeland from Michigan in 1951. He served on the Board of Directors for People's Bank and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mr. Hart was a longtime member of Lone Palm and loved playing golf and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Hart; sons, Stephen Douglas (Coleen Q.) Hart, Alan R. (Lou) Hart, Jr., Patrick J. (Shelley) Hart and Michael F. Hart; daughters, Loretto Hart and Mary (Greg Walkup) Hart; sisters, Sister Therese Hart and Sister Donna Hart; grandchildren, Christopher Hart, Esther Griffith, Joseph, Benjamin and Rebecca Hart; great grandchildren, Christopher Holden Hart, Keegan Hart and Vanessa Hart.
A Memorial Mass will be conducted Fri. at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lakeland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph's Academy.
