LAKELAND - Mr. James J. Hawley, 87, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 due to heart failure.

James was born on January 12, 1924 to Frank and Agnes Hawley in Milwaukee, WI. He was a veteran of the Navy serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict. James was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrtle Hawley; sons Philip Hawley and Mark (Patricia) Hawley; daughter Mary Ellen (Gary) Yenter; and a grandson Andrew Yenter.

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday at 8:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial to follow at 11:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery.
