LAKELAND - Mrs. Margaret Faircloth, 88, passed away of cancer, 5/30/2009, at Palm Terrace Hospice House.
Born 10/2/1920 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mrs. Faircloth moved to Lakeland in 1947. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Faircloth was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Faircloth and son, Thomas Rainey. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Mason Porch of Danville, VA, her brother, Charlie Mason of Winston Salem, NC, several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be conducted Friday 6/5/2009 from 6-8pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel at 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday 6/6/2009 at 10am at the Southside Chapel. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park.
