LAKELAND - Michael I. White, 30, died Oct. 26, 2008 of heart failure.
Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Monday, 11/3/08, with services to follow at 6pm at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Duke Steen Chapel.

VONNIE MAE WEBB, 100
LAKELAND - Vonnie M. Webb passed away of heart failure Wednesday, 10/29/2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 100 years old.
Born 01/11/1908 in Geneva County, Alabama, Mrs. Webb moved to Lakeland in 1947. Her career was her family and her Church. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and recently received a certificate of recognition for having been a member longer than anyone in the Church's history. She taught the 5 year old's Sunday School class. She was a greeter, a member of the Sarah Circle, and she helped prepare communion for Sunday morning services.
She is survived by her daughters: Martha W. Sinclair and Sara Nell Lucas; her granddaughters: Shellie S. Evers, Sherrie H. Sinclair and Elisabeth Lucas Rickards; her grandson: Scott Lucas; her great granddaughters: Kathryn, Ashleigh, Rebekah, and Jessica, and her great grandson: Thomas; sister: Mallorie Spears.
A visitation will be Friday from 5-7pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home's Dukes-Steen Chapel, 1833 S. Florida Avenue in Lakeland and a funeral service will be Saturday at 11am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 715 Cornelia Avenue in Lakeland. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

RUTH WHITE, 93
LAKELAND - Mrs. Ruth White, 93, died Monday, 10/27/08 due to respiratory failure.
Survived by daughter JoFaye Henry & family.
Burial will be in Georgia.

WALTER R. HOLDEN, 74
LAKELAND - Walter R. Holden, 74, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice Palm Terrace due to complications of a severe stroke.
He was born January 19, 1934 in Rochester, NY to Walter G. and Florence M. (Pound) Holden and moved to Lakeland in 1998 from Zephyrhills. Walter was a member of the Rainbow Promise Community Church and was a United States Air Force veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his companion, John Farley. Walter is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Harry) Holden-Dmohowski of Mulberry; a brother, Richard (Nancy) Holden of The Villages, FL; a sister-in-law, Kay Holden of Rochester, NY; numerous nieces and nephews including, John Horton of Lakeland and many friends including Earl Rast of Tampa and Tony Esposito of Zephyrhills.
Friends will be received 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Dukes-Steen Chapel, Lakeland where memorial services will be held that evening at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.

JEREMY WOODARD, 22
LAKELAND - Jeremy "J.D." Daniel Woodard passed away October 23, 2008 at the age of 22.
Jeremy was born in Bartow on August 27, 1986 and remained a lifelong resident of the area. He attended Highland Park Church of the Nazarene.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Cliff and Sarah Fountain; father, Timothy Woodard, Sr.; brother, Timothy Woodard, Jr.; grandparents, Emory and Ruby Simmons, Edith Fountain, and Fairy Woodard; niece, Alaina Woodard and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd., Lakeland. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, 4777 Lakeland Highlands Rd., Lakeland. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
