LAKELAND - Barbara J. Elliott, 73, passed away of respiratory failure, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Elliott was born on March 28, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Elliott; a son, Ronald (Debra) Elliott, Jr.; a daughter, Cindy Elliott; 2 granddaughters, Karen and Theresa; 2 grandsons, Steven and Ryan (Heather); 2 great-granddaughters, Celestine and Cheyanne; 3 great-grandsons, Steven, Bailey and Romen; a brother-in-law, Kenneth "Whitey" Elliott; and a dear friend, Lucy Ure.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 6pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel at 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland.
