LAKELAND -- Mrs. Gloria Mead of Lakeland died of lung failure Saturday (April 22, 2006) in Kissimmee. She was 77.

Born in Lakeland on Jan. 2, 1929, she was a longtime resident of the area. She co-owned with her husband, Don, John's Brake and Wheel Service and Cash Control at Walt Disney World. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Plant City Chapter. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Meade was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. "Don." She is survived by her daughter, Annette Mead, Kissimmee; one granddaughter.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday (May 6, 2006) at Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland.

LAKELAND -- Master Marc Bonifice, the son of Jean and Filane Bonifice of Lakeland, died Thursday (April 20, 2006) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was an infant.

In addition to his parents, Master Bonifice is survived by his brother, Josue Bonifice, Lakeland; sister, Ruth Bonifice, Lakeland; and grandparents, Favoli and Filia Marc, Lakeland.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (April 26, 2006) at Trinity Memorial Gardens.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Billy Wayne Keith of Lakeland died of kidney failure Tuesday (April 25, 2006) at home. He was 78.

Born Jan. 19, 1928, in Bowling Green, Mo., he came to Lakeland from there in 1991. He was the owner of a dry cleaning business. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall.

Mr. Keith is survived by his wife, Shirley Alloway Keith; son, Ronald Wayne Keith, Bowling Green; daughters, Linda Keith Luebrecht, Bowling Green, and Janet Keith Ray, Denver; brother, Robert Randall Keith, Lakeland; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Foxwood Lake Estates clubhouse.

LAKELAND -- Ms. Susan Martha Trask of Lakeland died of heart failure Tuesday (April 25, 2006) at Jacaranda Manor in St. Petersburg. She was 56.

She was born April 9, 1950, in Jacksonville. She was a volunteer at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, having received her 1,000-hour pin for volunteerism. She graduated from Florida Southern College with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She attended Lakeland United Methodist Church.

Ms. Trask is survived by her father, Avon "Bud" Trask, Lakeland; and sisters, Sandy Swanson and Beverly Murphy, both of Lakeland.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday (April 27, 2006) at Gentry-Morrison Southside Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Nations was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Nations. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Nations, Phoenix; daughter, Susan A. Moore, Lakeland; mother, Margaret S. Klikna, Orlando; brother, Douglas Stone, New Jersey; and two grandchildren.

Born Sept. 13, 1914, in Scregen County, Ga., she came to Lakeland from Savannah, Ga., in 1973. She was a restaurant waitress at Georgia Pine House in Savannah, Ga. She was a member of Double Heads Baptist Church in Georgia.

Mr. Mobley is survived by his daughter, Ila Wynelle Chesnut, Lakeland; sister, Elise Stafford, Georgia; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

Born in Marine, W.Va., on Feb. 9, 1921, she lived in Lakeland for 40 years before moving to Altamonte Springs. She was a homemaker and a retired seamstress. She was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall.

Ms. Dingus is survived by her daughters, Eleanor Gifford, Sanford, and Linda Muncy, Pineville, W.Va.; sons, Stanley Dingus, Lakehurst, N.J., and Chester Dingus, Pineville; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nickell is survived by her husband, Roy H. Nickell; sons, Bill Nickell, Santa Cruz, Calif., Greg Nickell, Dublin, Ohio; daughter, Barbara Vicars, Wadsworth, Ohio; sisters, Gertrude Chedister, Virginia, Frances Watkins, Jean Hawker, Ruth Hannah, Shirley Griffin, all of Polk City; seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Carmichael is survived by her husband, James R. Carmichael; daughter, Laura Piper, Eaton Park; son, James L. Carmichael, Sacramento, CA; sister, Violet McCall, Eaton Park; brother, Leon Crews, Lakeland; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wanda Anna Onysko of Mulberry died of Cancer Friday at home.  She was 86.

Born in Muskegon, MI on October 4, 1919, she came to Mulberry from Homestead, Florida in 1992.  She was a lunchroom manager for the Dade County School System and also a restaurant owner.  She attended Shepherd Road Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Onysko is survived by her husband, Bennie Onysko; sons, Maverick and wife Debbie Onysko, Lakeland, Bryce Onysko, Homestead; 6 grandchildren, Debbie, Denise, Deanna, Chris, Tracey, Kevin; 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday (April 23, 2006) at Gentry-Morrison Dukes-Steen, Beacon Hill Chapel.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday (April 24, 2006)  at Shepherd Road Presbyterian Church.
