Lakeland - Mr. Cleveland B. "Jimmy" Lewis of Lakeland died of heart failure Friday (july 29, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 69.

Born April 23, 1936, inHeadlund, AL, Mr. Lewis moved to Lakeland from Dothan, AL in 1956. He worked as a forklift operator for Juice Bowl, Lakeland. He attended All Faith Baptist Church. He served in the Navy.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Lewis; sons, Jimmy Ray Lewis and Jerry Brown, both of Lakeland; daughter, Brenda Runnels, Lakeland; brother, Cecil Ray "Billy" Lewis, Lakeland; sisters, Murl Gamble and Ruby Parker, both of Dothan, AL; 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday (Aug. 1, 2005) at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel. Services will be at 10 am Tuesday (Aug. 2, 2005) at All Faith Baptist Church.

Lakeland - Mr. Terry Lee Fischer of Lakeland died of cancer Saturday (July 30, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 59.

Born Aug. 25, 1945, in San Antonio, TX, Mr. Fischer moved to Lakeland from Georgetown, TX in 2003. He worked as an automobile salesman and was an Army veteran.

Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife Jean Fischer; stepfather, Russell Fischer, San Antonio; son Terry Fischer, Jr., San Antonio; daughters, Gayle Fischer and Kaerie Ann Fischer, both of San Antonio, Cindy Wolfrum, Austin, TX; brother, Rusty Fischer, San Antonio; sisters, Charlene Worley, Bertram, TX, Darlene Wallace, San Antonio, Dawn Gembler, San Antonio; 12 grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 pm Tuesday (Aug. 2, 2005) at Gentry-Morrison Dukes Steen, Beacon Hill Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1605 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805.

Born January 19, 1920, in Debuque, Iowa, Mrs. Reinker moved to Lakeland from Orlando in 1991. She worked for Hughes Supply Inc. as a bookkeeper. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Lorene W. Mulford of Lakeland died of cancer Sunday (July 24, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 64.

Born in Plant City on Feb. 27, 1941, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Mulford was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Mulford. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Mulford, Charles Roberson, both of Georgia; daughter, Susan Mitchell, Lakeland; brother, Ray Williams, Toms River, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 this morning (July 27, 2005) at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel.

LAKELAND -- Miss Alise Cheatwood of Lakeland died of injuries sustained after being hit by an automobile Sunday (July 24, 2005) in Wesley Chapel. She was 22.

She was born in Lakeland on June 23, 1983. She was a student at Hillsborough Community College and Valencia Community College.

Miss Cheatwood is survived by her father and stepmother, Dr. Clifford "Greg" and Dr. Janice Cheatwood, Lakeland; mother, Gail Cheatwood, Lakeland; brother, Doran Cheatwood, Lakeland; sister, Lauren Cheatwood, Lakeland; stepsister, Hayley Cheatwood, Lakeland; grandparents, Clifford and Faye Cheatwood, Lakeland.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening (July 26, 2005)at Gentry-Morrison Southside Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2005) at the funeral home chapel.

MULBERRY -- Mr. Anthony John Flint of Mulberry died of cancer July 3, 2005, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 61.

Born in Uxbridge, England, on Dec. 3, 1943, Mr. Flint came to Mulberry from Miami in 1992. He was a truck driver for C & F Trucking. He worked as a boat captain in Miami for 30 years. He served with the Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Flint is survived by his daughters, Christine Marie Flint, Miami Beach, Heather Flint, North Miami Beach; mother, Rebecca Flint, Anacortes, Wash.; sister, Carole Hill, Monteseano, Wash.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday (July 30, 2005) at First Assembly of God, 1400 E. Canal St., Mulberry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Goddard is survived by her husband, Lionel Goddard; sons, Kenneth Goddard, Baden, Pa., and Lionel E. Goddard Jr., Camp Hill, Pa.; brothers, Edward Dobbins, Raleigh, N.C., and Robert Dobbins, Chicago; sister, Robert Buono, Toms River, N.J.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Born in Lynwood, Calif., on Dec. 24, 1945, Mr. Carnagey came to Lakeland from Arizona five years ago. He was a diesel mechanic. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Saturday Nite Cruisers at Old Towne.

Mr. Carnagey is survived by his wife, Carol A. Carnagey; son, Jack Carnagey III, Riverview; daughter, Carolyn Carnagey, Apollo Beach; brothers, Richard Carnagey, Arizona, Charles Carnagey, New York; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday (July 25, 2005) at Gentry-Morrison Northside Chapel. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Oscar Carl Teachout Jr. of Lakeland died of pneumonia Tuesday (July 19, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 85.

Born in Schenectady, N.Y., on July 13, 1920, Mr. Teachout came to Lakeland from Marathon in 1988. He was a dairy farmer. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Methodist church in Schenectady.

Mr. Teachout was preceded in death by his second wife, Jean Austin Teachout. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Strickland, Lakeland; sons, William Teachout, Nort Fort Myers, James Teachout, Lakeland, Jeffery Teachout, El Dorado, Kan.; brothers, Richard Teachout, Richfield Springs, N.Y., Orville Teachout, Stoney Creek, N.Y.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Born June 19, 1917, in Richmond, Va., Mrs. Millard came here from Miami in 1974. She worked as a home health coordinator. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, Plant City.

Mrs. Millard was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Millard Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Pipkin, Mulberry; son, Hugh E. Millard Jr., Fort Lauderdale; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (July 27, 2005) at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel.
